Smith System offers shelving options for school libraries and classrooms. Our Fixed Shelving options include both Single-Face Shelving and Double-Face Shelving. What makes our offerings so exciting is our “Starter/Adder” system that allows the shelving system to grow and grow. You simply begin with a 3-ft. Starter and use 3-ft. Adders to create the desired row length. Beyond pure functionality, our Single-Face and Double-Face Shelving add to the learning environment with their warm wood-grain finishes and neutral shelving colors. End Panels offer the designer the options of Radius End, which includes an edge band color, Translucent, or Standard.

When it comes to mobile shelving you can choose from three great options, Nomads™, Cascade™ Storage, and Carts.

Available in a wide range of sizes, configured with flat or sloping shelves (or combinations of the two) the Nomad line is highly versatile, serving as everything from a movable mini-library to a very dressy book cart. Nomads can be finished with the same options as our fixed shelving: warm wood-grain finishes and neutral shelving colors. Cascade Storage offers a broad selection of mobile shelving options. Nine sizes are available and the opportunities for customization are so great, we’ve created a special Cascade Configurator to allow you to explore all the add-ons and extra functionality you like.

Finally, for mobile storage, it’s hard to knock our durable, colorful carts. We offer a wide range of styles, both single- and double-sided with flat shelves, sloping shelves and a combination of both. All available in your choice of colors.
