What is your title?

Maintenance Technician
How long have you been at Smith System?
I started in 2012 at the end of April.
What’s your favorite thing about working at Smith System?
My favorite thing about working at Smith System is how comfortable I am and also how well I fit in. Working here provides me with a sense of home and family.
How has working at Smith System impacted your life?
I have really grown within the company and learned so much throughout my years here. I feel like my knowledge has grown significantly especially in machinery. I am a maintenance technician and I fix the machines when things go wrong. In the off season, we are researching ways to improve ourselves and become quicker and more efficient for the next summer season.
The people that I have worked with have been a huge inspiration and support system for me. Mo has always supported me. He takes care of his employees and also guides us. My co-workers are supportive and encouraging. Being part of the team and a company where employees take care of each other is so important.

Now, let’s do some fun questions! What’s your go-to restaurant or meal?
My favorite restaurant in Genghi’s Grill. I love that you can pick and choose what you want.
What’s a movie or show you love to watch over and over again?
I never really like to watch a movie or show more than once, but maybe after a year or two I will re-watch something. My favorite movie is probably Transformers because of all the mechanical aspects to it.
What’s your favorite part of the day and what do you enjoy doing outside of Smith System?
My favorite part of the day is when I go home. I love spending time with my wife and daughter, Jaylahni (she turned 2 yrs. old this past Sunday). My time away I enjoy resting and spending time with my family.
